Our Tucson Story
In July 1973, after having worked at the Tucson Clinic for two years, Dr. Albert S. Callie opened a private pediatric practice in Tucson, at 310 Wilmot. Dr. Callie had moved with his wife Joyce and three children to Tucson in 1971 (they both grew up in eastern Pennsylvania). His practice grew and thrived, with the support of dedicated staff and families who have been Dr. Callie's patients for multiple generations.
In 1997, Dr. Callie's son Albert joined the practice and the office moved a few blocks east, to the current location. Today, our provider team also includes Nurse Practitioners Erin Cowan and Nicole Bencs, and Dr. Michelle Foth, who joined our practice in July 2018.
Our mission is to provide quality, personalized pediatric health care to optimize the growth and development
of children. Through our HealthySteps program and integrated care coordination, we seek to support and guide parents/caregivers, in order to enhance the lives of children, their families, and our community.
